In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russians attacked rescue workers again while they were fighting a fire
In the Nikopol District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian forces struck again at rescue workers who were extinguishing a fire that had broken out following a previous shelling.
Emergency responders and local firefighters were extinguishing a fire in dry vegetation on private property that had been caused by Russian strikes.
While the rescue workers were on the scene, Russian forces launched a second strike using a drone.
According to the State Emergency Service, the first two strikes damaged fire and rescue equipment. After the third strike, a State Emergency Service vehicle caught fire.
No rescue personnel were injured.
Repeated strikes against emergency responders working at the site of previous attacks pose an additional danger to personnel working to address the consequences of Russian shelling.

A video from a dashcam has been posted online, capturing the moment an enemy “Shahed”-type UAV, shot down by air defense forces during an airstrike on the Kyiv region, fell. Debris from the drone burst into flames in midair and fell onto the roadway, where traffic was moving at the time.
The State Emergency Service and the Odesa Regional Military Administration released photographs of a locomotive damaged as a result of the Russian attack. The images show the condition of the train following the strike.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces struck a passenger train in the Odesa region. According to him, there were 340 passengers in the cars at the time of the attack, and the train engineer and his assistant were killed.
