In the Donetsk region, Russian shelling damaged the Ukrainian Red Cross office
In Druzhkivka, Donetsk Oblast, the office of the local branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross was damaged as a result of Russian shelling. Staff and volunteers were not injured.
According to the organization, windows were shattered, and the front door, locks, and furniture were damaged. The damage has made it difficult for the office to operate, and the premises require repair and restoration work.
The Ukrainian Red Cross noted that no staff members or volunteers were injured as a result of the attack.
The organization also condemned the strikes on civilian infrastructure and humanitarian facilities, emphasizing that such actions violate international humanitarian law.
“Despite the constant danger and threat of shelling, the Ukrainian Red Cross team continues to work to support Ukrainians,” the organization stated.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked 54 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, carrying out 979 strikes. Three people were killed and another 24 residents were injured as a result of the enemy shelling.
The Russians struck a residential building in the Kyiv region, injuring five people.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 11 others were injured as a result of Russian strikes.
