More than 60 enemy attacks have taken place on the front lines since the start of the day — General Staff
Since the start of the day on June 1, Russian troops have carried out sixty-two attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The enemy has been most active in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The occupiers also continue to shell Ukraine’s border regions. In the Sumy region, airstrikes hit areas near the settlements of Vilna Sloboda, Chervonyi Pakhar, Korenok, and Viktorove.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out twenty-five assaults near Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, and Horikove. Two more battles are ongoing.
In the Hulyaypilske direction, Ukrainian forces repelled eleven attacks in the areas of Rybne, Dobropillia, Olenokostyantynivka, Zaliznychne, and Charivne. Two more combat engagements remain active.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out seven attacks, and in the Lyman sector—four assaults. Combat operations also continued in the Northern Slobozhansky, Southern Slobozhansky, Kupiansky, Sloviansky, Oleksandrivsky, and Prydniprovsky sectors.
The General Staff noted that no significant changes in the operational situation were recorded on the rest of the front lines.

A Russian man attacked Russian theater and film actor Artur Smolyaninov in Germany. Smolyaninov had been added to Russia’s list of “terrorists and extremists” for condemning the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. An unknown individual used profanity toward the actor and threatened to “tear him to pieces” when he arrives in Russia.
