There were 240 clashes on the front lines over the past 24 hours, with the highest number occurring in the Pokrovsk sector

On September 3, 240 combat engagements took place along the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian occupiers. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk, Kostyantynivka, and Southern Slobozhanshchyna sectors.

Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 100 airstrikes, during which they used 294 guided bombs.

In addition, the occupiers deployed 10,334 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,048 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

In the Sumy region, areas near the towns of Korenok, Pysarivka, Bachivsk, Ulanove, and Sukhodil came under artillery fire. Areas near Tovstodubove, Esmani, Sadkiv, and Ivolzhanske were subjected to enemy airstrikes.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

Three artillery systems, three drone control centers, and one command and observation post were also destroyed.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack by Russian troops in the direction of Bachivsk.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the occupiers carried out 22 attacks. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Starytsia, and Vilcha, as well as toward Okhrimivka and Bochkove.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops launched a single attack toward Bohuslavka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks. Fighting took place in the areas of Lyman and Dibrova, as well as in the directions of Hrekivka, Kopanok, Novoyegorivka, Novoselivka, and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out 10 assault operations in the areas of Kaleniky and Ozerny, as well as in the direction of Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops did not carry out any offensive operations over the past 24 hours.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 24 attacks by the occupiers were recorded. The Russians launched assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, and Raiske, as well as in the directions of Novohryhorivka, Novopavlivka, and Pavlivka.

The highest number of combat clashes was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector—Ukrainian forces repelled 38 enemy attacks.

The occupiers were active in the areas of Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Molodetske. Russian troops also launched assaults in the directions of Novy Donbas, Svitly, Vilny, Sofiivka, Toretsk, Pryiut, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attempted to attack twice in the directions of Rybne and Yegorivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops launched seven attacks toward Vozdvizhivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Orikhiv and Primorske.

In the Dnipro direction, no offensive actions by the occupiers were recorded.

At the same time, in the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups were detected.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its morning briefing on September 4.

Over the past day, Ukrainian defense forces eliminated another 1,440 Russian soldiers. 

Ukrainian defense forces regained control of new areas of territory between Dvorichna and Zapadny in the Kharkiv region. According to the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Charter,” troops liberated another 4 km², while analysts from DeepState reported the clearing of 2 km² of forest and an advance near Zapadny.

Since the start of the day on September 3, there have been 199 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian troops launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian forces repelled 26 assaults.
