Dozens of Attacks Recorded on the Front Since Dawn, Heavy Fighting Near Kostiantynivka

Since the start of the day, Ukrainian forces have recorded 66 attacks by Russian troops, with the most intense fighting on the Kostiantynivka front. More than 20 clashes have already taken place there, with some still ongoing, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who posted the update on Facebook.

The heaviest Russian activity was on the Kostiantynivka axis, where units carried out 21 attacks, some of which are still ongoing. In addition to assaults, the Russian army continues shelling border areas of Ukraine. In Sumy region, several settlements came under fire, including Budky, Iskryskivshchyna, Tovstodubove, Bezsalivka, Stepanivka, Prohres, Rohizne, Korenok, Novovasylivka, Bachivsk, Malushyne and Hirky.

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, Russian troops launched three attacks, and overall conducted 85 shelling strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including at least one using multiple rocket launchers. No attacks were recorded on the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis.

On the Kupiansk direction, Russian units attempted once to improve their positions near Novoplatonivka. On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks, as the enemy tried to advance towards Drobysheve and Lyman; one attack is still ongoing. On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy attempted three breakthroughs, with fighting reported near Platonivka and Zakitne. “One assault on this front is still ongoing,” the General Staff said.

No active Russian offensives were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction. However, the situation remains tense on the Kostiantynivka axis, where the Russian army has concentrated its main attacks. Clashes took place near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. “On this front, 21 enemy attacks were recorded, with two clashes still ongoing,” the General Staff reported.

Active fighting is also continuing on the Pokrovsk axis, where Russian forces attempted 16 times to push Ukrainian troops from their positions. Fighting occurred near Toretske, Zatyshok, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, and Muravka, with two clashes still ongoing.

On the Oleksandrivka front, the enemy launched five attacks, attempting advances towards Oleksandrohrad, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Vyshneve, and Kalynivske. In addition, Russian aviation struck the Kolomiitseve area.

On the Huliaipole axis, 13 attacks were recorded, with fighting near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Myrne, Olenokostantynivka, and Varvarivka. Russian aircraft also struck areas including Vozdvizhivka, Liubytske, Kopani, Mykilske, Shyroke, Novoselivka, and Charyvne, with one clash still ongoing.

On the Orikhiv axis, Russian forces attacked towards Stepnohirsk, while aviation strikes hit Orikhiv. On the Prydniprovsk axis, no ground attacks were recorded, though Russian aviation targeted the area.

No significant changes were observed on other parts of the front, with no new breakthrough attempts or advances reported.

Separately, the museum dedicated to Roman Shukhevych, destroyed by a Russian missile, will be rebuilt.

The Ukrainian Cabinet dismissed Kantsurak from the National Social Service and appointed him Deputy Head of the State Water Agency.
