On Friday evening, Russian occupiers launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening, September 18, Russian occupiers struck the Ukrainian capital with ballistic missiles. The consequences of this latest attack are currently unknown.

 

 

A warning was issued by the Ukrainian Air Force Command on its Telegram channel. 

Initial reports indicated a missile flying toward Kyiv via Brovary, then through the Chernihiv region toward the Kyiv region. An explosion was heard.

“Air defense forces are operating in the capital. Kyiv is under ballistic missile attack. Stay in shelters!” Klitschko wrote. The mayor urged Kyiv residents not to leave their shelters until the air raid alert has ended. At the time of this report, there was no information about the consequences of the attack or possible damage.

As a reminder, the number of people injured in the Russian attack on Odesa on September 18 has risen to ten. Among the injured are two rescue workers.

On September 18, Russian troops attacked the Kremenchuk district in the Poltava region. Two people were injured in the strike and were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

On the morning of September 17, Russian troops struck the “Epicenter” shopping center in Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, the building sustained significant damage and caught fire.
