Over 200 battles took place on the front lines over the past 24 hours; the occupiers have intensified their pressure in the Pokrovsk direction
Over the past 24 hours, 216 combat engagements were recorded along the front line. The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors, where a significant portion of the fighting took place.
Ukrainian forces continue to repel the Russian offensive and inflict losses on the enemy across key sectors of the front.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the situation on the front lines remains difficult, and the Russian army continues its active assault operations.
“In total, 216 combat engagements have taken place since the start of this day. The aggressor launched one missile strike, fired 28 missiles, carried out 52 airstrikes using 199 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,631 kamikaze drones for attacks, and carried out 2,324 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the military stated.
According to the General Staff, six combat engagements have taken place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors since the start of the day, two of which are still ongoing; the enemy carried out 58 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
Over the past 24 hours, in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy launched eight assaults on the positions of our units in the areas around the towns of Starytsia and Vovchansk, as well as toward the town of Khatne. One firefight is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched nine offensives toward the settlements of Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Novoosynove, and Shyikivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
Six attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector toward the settlements of Novoselivka, Lyman, and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces successfully halted 14 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas around the settlements of Zakytne, Kryva Luka, and Riznykivka, as well as toward Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out two attacks in the area of Nykyforivka and toward Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 22 enemy assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Toretsk, Sofiivka, and toward Novopavlivka and Novy Shakhovyi. Three engagements are still ongoing.
The enemy carried out 22 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Dorozhne, Kotlyne, and Udachne, as well as toward the settlements of Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, and Serhiivka. Two firefights are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 43 occupiers were eliminated and 3 were wounded here today; three artillery systems, one piece of specialized equipment, and four enemy personnel shelters were destroyed. One artillery system and 36 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 300 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled 10 enemy attacks directed at the settlements of Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Hirke, and Staroukrainka, as well as in the areas surrounding the settlements of Danilivka, Charivne, and Novoselivka. Two firefights are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled three enemy attempts to advance toward the settlements of Mala Tokmachka and Pavlivka.
In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation.
