A total of 61 clashes were reported along the front line, with the majority occurring in the Pokrovsk sector
Over the past 24 hours, 61 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, with the highest number of attacks occurring in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 17 times. The enemy is pressing on several fronts simultaneously, but Ukrainian troops are holding their positions and repelling the assaults. This is according to a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have intensified their activities across several sectors, launching wave after wave of attacks, with a total of 61 combat engagements recorded, confirming the high intensity of fighting along the entire front line.
The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest spot, where the occupiers carried out 17 assault attempts in the areas of several settlements at once; however, Ukrainian forces are holding their positions and containing the enemy’s advance.
The situation in the north of the country is also tense: artillery shelling and airstrikes have been recorded in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, affecting border communities, including Korenok, Bachivsk, Sopych, and other settlements.
In the Sumy region and the Kursk direction, 14 combat engagements took place; the enemy used guided aerial bombs and multiple launch rocket systems, attempting to pressure Ukrainian positions with heavy fire.
In the Kharkiv region, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces twice, but without success, while in the Kupiansk direction, combat operations continue at several points simultaneously, particularly near Novoosynove and Podoly. Active fighting is also ongoing in the east: five clashes were recorded in the Lyman direction; in the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy advances; and in the Kramatorsk direction, they repelled one attack, which was also stopped.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers launched six assaults near Kostiantynivka and neighboring settlements, but they failed to gain a foothold.
The situation near Pokrovsk remains the most dynamic: Russian forces attempted to advance at several points simultaneously, but Ukrainian defenses are holding their lines, preventing the enemy from expanding its control.
Fighting also continues unabated in the southern sectors: in the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attacks, while in the Dnipro sector, they repelled two more assault attempts.
The General Staff notes that Russian troops did not conduct offensive operations on some sections of the front, but the overall situation remains tense due to constant attempts at pressure and reconnaissance-in-force. Ukrainian forces continue to hold their defensive positions, repelling attacks and preventing the enemy from establishing a foothold in new positions.
Earlier, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, stated that Ukraine is tracking every flight of Russian kamikaze drones over Belarusian territory. He addressed Alexander Lukashenko, emphasizing his responsibility for such attacks.
