Moscow came under drone attack this morning, prompting the temporary suspension of airport operations in the Russian capital.
This was reported by Russian media and local authorities.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that air defense forces allegedly shot down 15 drones flying toward the city. According to him, 11 drones were initially destroyed, followed by four more.
In response to the attack, flight restrictions were imposed at Moscow airports, some flights were delayed, and some planes were diverted to alternate airports.
At the same time, Russian monitoring sources report that the attack may continue, and new groups of drones are reportedly heading toward Moscow.
