Four people were injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks
On August 16, four people were injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks. Residential buildings, a hospital wing, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
According to the prosecutor’s office, on August 16, the Russian army attacked settlements in the region using aircraft, artillery, and various types of drones.
“As of 5:30 p.m., four people were reported injured as a result of the Russian aggression. In addition, private homes, apartment buildings, a hospital building, a store, warehouses, garages, and service and passenger vehicles were damaged,” the statement said.
It is noted that all four victims sustained injuries as a result of attacks by Russian drones in Kherson and the village of Ingulets.
Law enforcement officials are currently continuing to document the consequences of Russian shelling in the Kherson region.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.
In addition, Russian troops struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. According to preliminary data, no one was injured in the attack.
On the afternoon of August 16, a Russian jet-powered drone attacked a post office located in a shopping center in the suburbs of Odesa. Two people were injured in the strike.
Later, Russian forces again attacked civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region. An enemy jet-powered drone struck a residential area, completely destroying two private homes and injuring three civilians.
