The Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed their successful advance in the Kharkiv region
Ukrainian defense forces are making some progress on the right bank of the Oskol River in the Kharkiv region as part of the overall reduction of the Russian Federation’s foothold north of Kupiansk. This was reported by Viktor Tregubov, a spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation.
According to him, Ukrainian forces have regained control of the territory near the village of Zapadne. Efforts are currently underway to further reduce the occupiers’ presence in this area; however, the spokesperson did not provide additional details regarding other specific zones.

Ukrainian defense forces have regained control over new areas of territory between Dvorichna and Zapadne in the Kharkiv region. According to the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Charter,” troops liberated an additional 4 km², while analysts at DeepState reported the clearing of 2 km² of forest and an advance near Zapadne.
Ukrainian defense forces have liberated the village of Seredne in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops have also pushed back Russian occupiers in the Shandryholove area.
The liberation of the villages of Shandryholove and Drobysheve allowed the Ukrainian military to fully regain control of a key area that protects the approaches to Lyman. This was stated by Yuriy Butusov, commander of the UAV company of the 23rd Assault Regiment, part of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard “Charter.”
