In the Kherson region, three people were killed and another 32 were injured to varying degrees over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian shelling.
Among the victims are representatives of government agencies, local authorities, and medical workers. Medical personnel are providing necessary care to the wounded, and the exact consequences of the strikes are being determined.
“According to the investigation, on July 1, 2026, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kherson region with artillery and various types of drones,” the statement said.
As noted, as of 5:30 p.m., three people were reported dead and 32 were injured to varying degrees as a result of the Russian aggression.
Specifically, in Kherson, two women were killed as a result of an enemy attack using a UAV against a route taxi, and another city resident sustained fatal injuries from the explosion of a strike drone.
One person was injured each in Novoraysk, Inzhenerne, and Novomykolaivka. All other injured individuals are residents of Kherson, including, in particular, civil servants, local government officials, and medical workers.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes.
