Traffic jams have formed at the border with Poland
Ahead of the weekend, the number of vehicles waiting to leave Ukraine has increased at the Ukrainian-Polish border in Lviv Oblast. The largest number of vehicles has now accumulated near the “Shehyni” border crossing—where 65 vehicles are currently waiting in line. Border guards advise drivers to take this situation into account when planning their trips and, if possible, to choose less congested border crossings.
Traffic jams have formed at the Ukrainian-Polish border in the Lviv region. Passenger traffic traditionally increases on the eve of weekends and during the weekends themselves. Border guards reported on the situation at the border. Currently, traffic is backing up specifically at the exit from Ukraine. The longest line has been recorded at the “Shehyni” border crossing. There are 65 vehicles waiting there. The situation at other border crossings is as follows:
- “Ugryniv” – 45 vehicles;
- “Rava-Ruska” – 45 vehicles;
- “Krakivets” – 40 cars and 15 buses;
- “Shehyni” – 65 cars;
- “Smilnytsia” – 10 cars and 1 bus;
- “Nyzhankovychi” – 15 cars and 1 bus.
Thus, the heaviest traffic is currently at “Shehyni.” There are also noticeable lines at “Ugryniv,” “Rava-Ruska,” and “Krakivets.” At the same time, no significant backlog of vehicles or buses has been reported at the border crossing into Ukraine. In other words, the main traffic is currently heading from Ukraine to Poland.
Border guards advise drivers to factor in possible delays in advance. If possible, when planning your route, you may choose a different border crossing where the line is shorter. This is especially important for those planning a trip specifically for the weekend. Due to increased passenger traffic, conditions at border crossings may change throughout the day.

Drivers are advised to check the situation immediately before departure so they can adjust their route if possible and avoid wasting time in line. Throughout the day, Russian invaders attacked five districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times, using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs. As a result of the enemy strikes, three people were killed and five others were wounded.
On the morning of September 17, Russian troops struck the “Epicenter” shopping mall in Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, the building sustained significant damage and caught fire.
The enemy attacked a passenger bus in the Kosmichny district of Zaporizhzhia using an FPV drone. At the time of the attack, there were people inside the bus who were traveling on their daily errands.
