Russian drones damaged a shoe factory in the Odesa region
In the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District of the Odesa Region, Russian drones damaged buildings at a shoe factory on the night of August 15. Following the strike, the cafeteria, boiler room, and a car caught fire, and the administrative building was also damaged. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.
Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones on the night of August 15. One of the strikes hit the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, where a shoe factory was damaged.
As a result of the attack, part of the building was destroyed. This was followed by a fire in the cafeteria and boiler room. A passenger car also caught fire. The blast wave and debris damaged the administrative building, affecting the windows and facade. Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scene and dealt with the aftermath of the attack.
Another building caught fire
At another address in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, an unoccupied private home caught fire following the attack. Dry grass nearby also caught fire. The fire was successfully extinguished. According to preliminary information from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack.
Fifteen rescue workers and five pieces of equipment were deployed to address the aftermath of the Russian strike. Specialists are currently continuing to assess the extent of the damage. The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region reported this on Facebook.
Russian troops carried out 971 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire, and two people were injured as a result of attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district. There were also 44 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Since the evening, Russian forces have attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. As a result of the strikes in Marhanets, a three-month-old boy was killed, and 11 other people were injured, including two children. During the attack, the Russians used drones, artillery, and an aerial bomb.
