Video: Drones struck the Galaktika shopping center in Donetsk for the third time this week
On August 15, in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk, the “Galaktika” shopping center caught fire following a series of explosions. According to monitoring channels, this is already the third attack on facilities belonging to this chain in the past week—earlier, drones struck shopping centers in Makiivka and Yenakiieve.
According to a monitoring channel, unidentified drones struck the “Galaktika” shopping center in occupied Donetsk. The facility, which the Russians refer to as the “seized Epicenter,” is currently engulfed in flames. There are no details yet on the extent of the damage, the causes, or possible casualties.
After the occupation of the Donetsk region in 2014, the “Epicenter” hypermarket chain "Epicenter" was seized by the Russians, who continued to operate it under the new name "Galaktika"—both in Donetsk itself and in other cities in the region controlled by the occupiers.

As a reminder, the Russians used KAB bombs to reduce part of a village in the Zaporizhzhia region to ruins overnight.
As a result of a Russian drone strike, one person was killed and another was injured in the Zaporizhzhia region on August 15.
Russian forces attacked Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike sparked a fire, damaged private homes, and left two men injured and hospitalized.
Over the past day, Russian troops attacked Kherson and dozens of settlements in the region. As a result of the strikes, 28 people were injured, including a 16-year-old boy.
