In the Poltava region, about 3,000 customers were left without gas due to attacks by Russia
As a result of Russian shelling in the Poltava region, approximately 3,000 customers in five settlements have been left without gas service.
This was reported by Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.
According to him, the outage was the result of previous attacks on energy infrastructure.
“Due to previous enemy attacks, about 3,000 customers in five settlements in the Poltava district were left without gas supply. Specialists are continuing restoration work,” he noted.
Currently, emergency services are working to restore gas supply to all affected households.
It is noted that Russian troops regularly carry out massive strikes on oil and gas infrastructure, in particular on facilities of the Naftogaz Group in the Poltava region, which leads to disruptions in the supply of energy resources.
Additionally, on May 26, due to hostilities and Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in six regions of Ukraine were temporarily left without power.
Earlier, as a result of drone attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, consumers in the Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv regions were left without power.
In the Korosten community, one person was injured as a result of an attack by Russian drones. Damage to infrastructure facilities was also reported.
