A fire broke out at an industrial facility in the Poltava region following an attack by the Russian Federation

In the Poltava region, one of the industrial facilities caught fire as a result of Russian shelling. 

Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, despite the threat of a second strike. 

Firefighters also managed to prevent the fire from spreading further.

According to regional authorities, the Mirgorod district of Poltava Oblast was targeted.

There are currently no reports of fatalities or injuries.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

In addition, since the evening of August 11, Russian troops have attacked four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times using drones and missiles. A 57-year-old man was injured as a result of the strikes.

On the night of August 12, Russian occupation forces struck Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, one of the “Epicenter” chain’s stores was damaged.

In the Odesa region, traffic to border crossing points with Moldova was restricted due to the Russian attack.

As a reminder, Moldova may face an acute electricity shortage.

June’s heatwave in Europe led to significant losses in agriculture. The cost of the destroyed grain harvest is estimated at more than 2 billion euros, with farmers in France and Hungary suffering the most.
