Three power utility workers were wounded in a UAV attack in the Poltava region
In the Poltava region, three energy sector workers were injured when a Russian drone struck a company vehicle during emergency repair work. Meanwhile, due to severe weather in the Khmelnytskyi region, 10 settlements were left without power, according to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“The injured were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving all necessary medical care,” the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Energy, as of the morning of July 8, due to hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions remain temporarily without power.
Restoration work is ongoing around the clock.
In addition, due to severe weather, 10 settlements in the Khmelnytskyi region remain without power. Repair crews are working to restore service.
The Ministry of Energy does not anticipate any power restrictions on Wednesday.
As a reminder, people have been killed in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack, and evacuations are ongoing.
Furthermore, during the Russian terrorists’ attack on Kyiv on the night of July 6, the home of actress and TV host Olena Kravets was damaged.
