More than 1,180 km of anti-drone defenses have been installed along front-line routes
Since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine has deployed more than 1,184 km of anti-drone defenses along key logistics routes in frontline regions. The work was carried out by the State Special Transport Service to protect military convoys and equipment and ensure a stable supply chain amid Russian attacks.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense’s press service.
“Every protected kilometer of road means lives saved among Ukrainian troops, equipment preserved, and additional opportunities for our units to carry out combat missions,” the ministry noted.
Throughout July, the military carried out the following work in frontline regions:
- 215 km of anti-drone defenses were built;
- 16.52 km of anti-drone defenses were restored;
- nearly 112.7 km of roads were repaired.
Since the start of restoration work in April, specialists have carried out routine repairs and maintenance on over 424.9 km of roads. As of August, work is ongoing at 21 sites. Repair work has been fully completed at another 25 sites.
