The fiercest fighting is taking place in the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka sectors

Since the start of the day, there have been 226 combat engagements on the front lines. The Russian army fired 74 missiles, deployed more than 5,500 kamikaze drones, and dropped 181 guided aerial bombs. The fiercest battles are ongoing in several sectors simultaneously, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 

Since the start of the day, Russian troops have significantly increased pressure along the entire front line. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled or are continuing to repel 226 enemy attacks.

In addition to ground assaults, the occupiers actively used aircraft and drones. Over the past 24 hours, they carried out one missile strike, firing 74 missiles; conducted 50 airstrikes; and dropped 181 guided bombs. The Russian army also deployed 5,566 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,268 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out an airstrike, dropped three aerial bombs, and conducted 59 shelling attacks, three of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers made 14 attempts to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses near Starytsia, Zapadne, and Kopanok, as well as in the direction of Okhrimivka, Radkivka, and Khatne.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks toward Tyshchenkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted to advance 13 times near Dibrova, Stavky, Lyman, Drobysheve, Ozerny, Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, and Novoselivka. At the time of this report’s publication, three battles were still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 22 enemy attacks near Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, as well as in the direction of Piskunivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Mykolaivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Fedorivka Druha and Tykhonivka.

The Kostiantynivka sector remains one of the hottest. Here, Ukrainian forces repelled 30 assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Toretsk, Rusyno Yar, Sofiivka, and in the direction of Stepanivka, Dovha Balka, and Vilne. Two firefights are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers carried out 25 attacks. They attempted to break through near Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and in the direction of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Myrne, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, and Matyashove. Four battles in this sector of the front are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates by the General Staff, Ukrainian forces eliminated 29 occupiers in the Pokrovsk sector, while seven more were wounded.

The Defense Forces also destroyed two vehicles, two pieces of specialized equipment, 37 personnel shelters, and one electronic warfare system. In addition, two artillery systems, three vehicles, two pieces of specialized equipment, three drone control centers, and 182 Russian military shelters were damaged. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed or neutralized 218 drones of various types.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks toward Kalynivske and near Pershotravneve.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 attacks near Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtseve, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops attempted twice to advance near Bilohirya and Shcherbakiv but were unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, no offensive actions by Russian troops were recorded over the past 24 hours. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a reminder, on the night of July 30, Russian troops carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Ukraine, using over 70 missiles and more than 280 attack drones. Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, came under fire.

In Poland, during the massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the night of July 30, an air raid alert was issued in part of the Lublin Voivodeship. After the alert ended, a crater about 10 meters in diameter and debris from an unidentified object were discovered in a field near the villages of Tarnava-Kolonia and Tokary.
