On the night of June 2, Russian forces launched a massive combined attack on the Kyiv region, using strike drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.
Three civilians were injured as a result of the enemy shelling, and damage and fires were reported in four districts of the region.
Emergency services worked throughout the night and into the morning at the sites where debris landed, clearing up the aftermath of the strikes.
The consequences of the enemy attack were recorded in the Bucha, Vyshhorod, Fastiv, and Obukhiv districts.
A comprehensive assessment of the affected areas is currently underway, including documentation of the extent of the damage and the provision of necessary assistance to local residents.
The Russian occupiers caused the most damage and destruction in the Bucha district, where the highest number of fires was recorded.
In this district, a man was injured and promptly hospitalized with a laceration to his thigh.
Enemy debris damaged three private homes, logistics and warehouse facilities, other non-residential buildings, and six trucks there.
According to the State Emergency Service, in the Bucha district, rescue workers quickly extinguished a fire in a townhouse with an area of about 100 square meters.
In addition, in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, firefighters extinguished a blaze in a two-story warehouse building, where the fire covered an area of 500 square meters.
Debris from airstrikes also caused significant damage to private residential homes.
In the village of Kryukivshchyna, a three-story non-residential building caught fire as a result of the attack, with the fire covering an area of 225 square meters. Meanwhile, in the Vyshhorod district, damage was reported to two apartment buildings and one private home.
Debris from a downed drone falling in an open area of the district also caused a grass fire.
In the Obukhiv district, another victim sustained a shrapnel wound to the leg, and damage to residential buildings was also reported. In the Fastiv district, medical personnel had to assist a man suffering from an acute stress reaction.
In this district, debris damaged private residential buildings, and rescue workers continue to address the aftermath of the enemy strike.

As a result of Russia’s massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv, the shock wave damaged the ground-level lobby of the Lukyanivska metro station.
