The General Staff has identified the hottest sector of the front
Since the start of the day, there have been 85 combat engagements on the front lines. The fiercest fighting is taking place in the Sloviansk sector, where Russian troops have already attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 22 times.
Intense fighting is also taking place in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors—the occupiers have carried out 19 attacks in each sector. In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, 11 assaults were recorded, and in the Kostiantynivskyi sector, Ukrainian forces have already repelled 8 attacks.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy has attacked five times, and some of the fighting is ongoing. Meanwhile, no new assaults have been recorded so far in the Kupiansk, Kramatorsk, Orikhiv, and Dnipro sectors.
In addition, Russian troops continue to shell the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions and have carried out airstrikes on several settlements.
