Occupiers in Dnipropetrovsk region killed two miners who were clearing debris

On the night of 3 December, Russian occupiers struck the mining town of Ternivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, killing two miners who were helping to clear debris after a previous strike.

This was reported by energy company DTEK.

The victims, 43-year-old Vitaliy Korotich and 50-year-old Valery Kalinevich, were killed by the second drone strike.

Vitaliy Korotich, who had worked at the Ternivske mine for more than half his life, was ‘the kindest person in the team’ and had a wife and three daughters. Valery Kalinevich spent many years training the younger generation of miners at the Heroes of Space mine management company until he retired, and was ‘the life and soul of the company,’ his colleagues recall.

We remind you that as a result of Russian shelling in Bilozerska, a woman was killed.
