The occupiers cannot advance into the Dnipro Delta due to a shortage of boats, according to "ATESH"
Russian troops are facing serious difficulties in conducting offensive operations in the Dnipro Delta in the Kherson region due to a critical shortage of watercraft.
This was reported by the "ATESH" partisan movement on Telegram.
According to a source within the 70th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Federation’s 18th Combined Arms Army, there are almost no high-speed boats left on the islands near Kherson. The main reason cited is regular strikes by Ukrainian drones, which destroy the equipment, while there are no replacements.
“The command pretends that everything is under control. In reality, there are almost no boats left; every time they go out on the water is now a gamble,” the message states.
“ATESH” notes that due to the shortage of boats, the islands are effectively isolated. Transporting personnel and ammunition across the straits has become extremely risky—without proper cover and reserves.
According to sources, unit rotations are delayed, and supplies are regularly disrupted. Soldiers stationed at their posts may wait weeks for relief.
The situation is further complicated by the technical condition of the remaining fleet: some boats are breaking down due to wear and tear and inadequate maintenance.
The partisan movement also reported that the gathered intelligence has already been passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The day before, Ukrainian troops repelled another attack by Russian occupation forces in the Lyman direction near the village of Stavy. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has intensified its activity across several sections of the front. A total of 41 combat engagements were recorded, some of which are still ongoing.
Syrsky signedan order regarding rotations within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a reminder, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made personnel decisions regarding the command of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade following media attention regarding a critical situation with the supply of troops in the Kupiansk direction.
Prior to this, information appeared on social media about an allegedly critical situation regarding the supply of soldiers from the 14th Brigade’s 2nd Mechanized Battalion, who are stationed at their positions without sufficient food and water.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between Russian Armed Forces servicemen complaining about critical problems with food and water supplies at their positions. This indicates serious difficulties with logistical support for Russian units.
