Russia attacked port infrastructure in the Odesa region, causing fires to break out
On the night of May 1, Russian forces launched an attack on port infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region. The Izmail district came under fire.
This was reported by the Operational Headquarters of the Izmail District State Administration.
There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the shelling.
Fires broke out at the sites following the attack, which were quickly extinguished by State Emergency Service units. The extent of the damage and other consequences of the strike are currently being assessed.
Local authorities continue to assess the situation and urge residents not to ignore air raid sirens.
Additionally, Mykolaiv was again attacked by Russian drones. In the residential area, houses were damaged and a fire broke out. An air raid alert remains in effect in the city, and residents are urged to stay in shelters.
In Dnipro, a bus was destroyed and a residential building, a store, and cars were damaged as a result of the strike. There is also damage in Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the Russian attack on the night of April 30 in Odesa, extensive damage to residential infrastructure was recorded, with the Primorskyi district suffering the most.
