Occupiers struck Chuhuiv and a village in the Kharkiv region: four people were wounded
On April 29, Russian forces attacked the village of Petrivka in the Izyum district with a drone and launched a missile strike on Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. Four people were injured as a result of the attacks.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the head of the Regional State Administration, Oleg Synyegubov.
According to the investigation, at around 10:50 a.m., Petrivka was attacked by a UAV, preliminarily identified as a “Geran-2.” The drone struck a private residence, injuring two men and a woman. A residential building and a car were also damaged.
In addition, the Russian army launched a missile strike on Chuhuiv, hitting an industrial facility. Windows were shattered in nearby private homes.
According to Synyegubov, a 70-year-old woman was injured in the missile strike—she suffered a fracture after being knocked down by the blast wave. Medical personnel are providing her with necessary care.
In the Kharkiv region, the past 24 hours were marked by intense Russian shelling, which killed a 61-year-old woman and injured seven others, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child; strikes hit both Kharkiv and a number of settlements in the region.
Following a nighttime attack on Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of two victims from the rubble of a destroyed building; however, according to preliminary data, people may still be trapped under the debris, and search operations continue. The number of casualties has risen to 21; medical personnel continue to provide assistance, and all emergency services are on the scene.
