Occupiers deploy operational reserves in attempt to capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad
The Russian army was forced to deploy operational reserves in an attempt to seize Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by Sergey Lefter, an officer in the communications department of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, according to RBC-Ukraine.
According to Lefter, to reinforce their forces, the Russian command decided to send the 76th Pskov Air Assault Division to Pokrovsk.
The Air Assault officer noted that the Russians are forced to deploy reserves because “they are being worn down” and “stuck in urban combat”:
“If it were easy for them to capture Pokrovsk, I think they would have done it already… It is clear that they lack sufficient forces.”
Earlier, the “East” grouping reported that search-and-assault operations are ongoing in Pokrovsk, and Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to eliminate enemy forces on the approaches to Myrnohrad. According to DeepState, Russian troops advanced near Katerynivka and in Myrnohrad.
