Occupiers launched 64 assaults on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions over the past 24 hours – General Staff
Since the start of the day, there has been intense fighting along the front lines. Russian occupation forces have carried out 64 assault attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units. In addition, Russian artillery continues to actively shell Ukraine’s border regions, maintaining constant pressure on the defensive lines.
Shelling of Ukraine
Throughout the day in the Sumy region, the following settlements came under enemy fire: Rohizne, Ryzhivka, Korenok, Bunyakine, Bachivsk, Sokhny, Neskuchne, Vovkivka, Sopych, and Prohres. An airstrike on the village of Vorozhba in the Sumy region was also recorded.
Situation in the north
Two combat clashes occurred in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions. In these same areas, the enemy fired on defensive lines and nearby settlements thirty times.
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the invaders made one attempt to break through the defenses near the town of Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk sector of the front, units of the occupying forces launched two attacks aimed at displacing Ukrainian forces near Pishchane and Kupiansk. One combat engagement is currently ongoing.
Fighting in the East
The aggressor also demonstrated offensive activity in the Lyman direction, where four assault attempts were recorded near the settlements of Novoselivka, Stavy, and Drobysheve. One combat engagement is ongoing there.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian units neutralized one enemy attempt to advance in the area of the settlement of Kryva Luka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, one enemy offensive was recorded near the settlement of Chasiv Yar, which ended without success.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled twelve enemy attacks as the enemy attempted to breach defensive lines in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Rusynove Yar, and Illinivka.

This fall, Russia may announce another mobilization amid the difficult situation on the Ukrainian front, the failure of the winter-spring offensive, and significant losses. This was stated by State Duma Deputy Andrei Gurulov, who linked the possible decision to Russia’s military setbacks in the war against Ukraine.
