Occupiers destroy bread delivery vehicle in Kharkiv region
Russian forces carried out a targeted drone strike on a civilian vehicle belonging to the acting village elder of Oskil, Serhii Nikorych. At the time of the attack, he was transporting bread, mail and pensions to residents of the Pisko-Radkivskyi starosta district, located on the left bank of the Oskil River.
The incident was reported by the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities on Telegram.
As a result of the strike, the vehicle was completely destroyed by fire, while Serhii Nikorych sustained injuries and acoustic barotrauma.
According to the head of the Borova settlement military administration, Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, the vehicle was effectively the only link to the outside world for frontline villages rarely reached by other transport. The village elder regularly delivered parcels and social payments, carrying out a critically important humanitarian mission. The injured man is currently under medical supervision, and his condition is reported as stable.
The Association of Frontline Cities and Communities stressed that the attack on a clearly marked humanitarian vehicle was not accidental. It described the strike as yet another deliberate war crime by the Russian Federation, aimed at destroying life-support logistics for civilians and intimidating local communities. Despite constant shelling of crossings, Ukrainian services continue to seek ways to deliver essential supplies to de-occupied areas.
Earlier, two civilians were killed in Russian shelling in the Myropillia community of Sumy region.
In Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv region, a Russian drone attack also caused a fire at a petrol station, leaving one civilian injured.
