About 85% of Russia's oil refining capacity has come under attack by Ukrainian drones

Following the attack by Ukrainian drones on the Omsk Oil Refinery, approximately 85% of Russia’s oil refining capacity has come within range of Ukrainian drones.

According to estimates based on the Russian Ministry of Energy’s registry, 33 of the 45 largest Russian oil refineries are within range, including nine of the ten largest. Their combined capacity exceeds 257 million metric tons of oil per year.

Only 12 large refineries currently remain outside the strike zone; they are located primarily in Siberia and the Far East, at distances ranging from 2,600 to over 6,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
