Police evacuate horses from Vovchansk district
Kharkiv police continue evacuating animals from dangerous areas. On February 10, three horses that had been abandoned in the Vovchansk district were successfully evacuated.
This was reported by Vyacheslav Markov, Assistant Head of the Main Police Department in Kharkiv Region for Humanitarian Affairs.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Kharkiv Rapid Response Unit / Ukrainian Red Cross, volunteer Robert Sargsyan (Animals911Ukraina), and the director of the Kharkiv Horse Factory, Leontiy Bugaychuk, the animals were safely removed from the danger zone.
“Thank you for your personal contribution to saving these wonderful animals!” — said the organizations involved in the rescue operation.
Previously, the National Police’s special unit “White Angels”, together with a volunteer, evacuated two horses from Avdiivka in Donetsk Region. These animals had escaped from a farm destroyed by the occupiers in the village of Lastochkyne about six months ago.
On the night of February 10, Russian forces attacked the energy infrastructure of Izmail district in Odesa region, leaving several communities without electricity.
The same night, Russian troops struck Vilnyansk in Zaporizhzhia region with drones, injuring people, including a one-year-old child.
Russia has previously attacked Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions, resulting in injuries to a child.
Russian forces have targeted energy infrastructure in eight Ukrainian regions, and in Khmelnytskyi region, a residential building was damaged.
