Russia attacks Odesa region, communities in Izmail district lose power
Last night, Russian forces attacked the energy infrastructure of the Izmail district in the Odesa region. As a result of the strike, several communities were left without electricity.
This was reported by the Izmail District Military Administration on Facebook.
According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, an energy facility and an administrative building were damaged. There is no information about casualties. In three communities, some settlements were partially without power, while critical infrastructure is operating on backup generators.
Currently, DTEK specialists are working to temporarily reconnect the settlements to the electricity grid.
An air raid alert in the Odesa region was announced at 01:02 on 10 February in the Bolhrad, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Izmail districts. The Ukrainian Air Forces reported a group of drones moving over the Black Sea towards the Odesa region in the direction of Tatarbunary. Later, at 02:14, drones heading for Izmail were detected. The air raid alert ended at 02:27.
Additionally, last night, 10 February, Russian forces attacked Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region with drones. There were casualties, including a one-year-old child.
Recall that Russians also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region and Zaporizhzhia, injuring a child.
The Russian Federation has targeted energy infrastructure in eight regions of Ukraine.
Furthermore, as a result of the attack in the Khmelnytskyi region, a residential building was damaged.
