A Russian prisoner of war recounted how he killed his commander and covered up the crime
A Russian soldier with the call sign “Belarus,” who was captured by fighters of the 79th Separate Tavriya Airborne Assault Brigade in the Oleksandrivka area, spoke about a conflict with his own commander. According to him, he subsequently committed murder and attempted to cover up the crime.
In an interview, the prisoner stated that he came to fight against Ukraine because he was “curious to see what this war was like.”
He said this was already his second contract with the Russian army. During his first contract, as the occupier himself recounted, he killed his company commander.
The captive claims that after a conflict with his company commander, he opened fire on him with an automatic rifle. He then removed the body, placed it in a car, and set the vehicle on fire to cover up the crime. However, the occupier was exposed and sentenced to eight years in a maximum-security prison.
This is detailed in a video posted on the brigade’s page.
