Video: Ukrainian drones struck 14 vessels of Russia's shadow fleet overnight
Ukraine’s unmanned aerial vehicle forces carried out a large-scale nighttime operation during which they struck 14 Russian vessels used to support the military logistics of the occupying forces.
Ukrainian drone operators struck Russian military logistics facilities in the waters of the Sea of Azov and near occupied Crimea.
The following targets were struck:
- 10 tankers in the Sea of Azov—they were attacked by fighters from the 9th “Kairos” Battalion of the 414th Separate “Birds of Magyar” Brigade, the 1st Separate Center, and the 412th “Nemesis” Brigade.
- One ferry in the Sea of Azov—it was struck by operators from the 1st Separate Center.
- Three ferries in the Kerch area of occupied Crimea—the strike was carried out by servicemen of the 413th Separate “Raid” Regiment.
It is reported that the targeted vessels were used to support the operations of Russia’s “shadow fleet” and helped the Kremlin circumvent international sanctions.
It is noted that these strikes complicate logistics for Russian troops and reduce Russia’s ability to finance its war economy.
