Special Operations Forces captured two Russian soldiers near the border
Fighters from Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces carried out a surprise raid on a Russian military position near the state border. During the operation, two Russian servicemen surrendered to Ukrainian defenders before they even had a chance to open fire.
Operators from the 6th Special Operations Forces Rangers Regiment carried out a special operation during a combat mission near the state border and captured two Russian servicemen.
First, Ukrainian soldiers used reconnaissance to determine the exact coordinates of the enemy position, after which they approached it unnoticed.
The Special Operations Forces exploited the element of surprise and acted so quickly that the Russian soldiers did not have time to resist or use their weapons. As a result, the two occupiers laid down their arms and surrendered.
During initial questioning, the prisoners told Ukrainian military personnel about the locations of other Russian servicemen in that area.
