More than 6,000 drones and 165 unmanned aerial vehicles: The General Staff has identified the hottest sectors of the front
Since the start of the day, 181 combat engagements have been recorded on the front lines. Russian forces launched more than 6,000 drones and dropped 165 guided bombs.
The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman sectors.
The aggressor launched one missile strike with two missiles and carried out 58 airstrikes using 165 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,060 kamikaze drones for attacks, and carried out 2,353 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, according to the report.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, eight combat clashes have occurred since the start of the day; the enemy carried out 61 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, two of which involved the use of multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS). It also carried out one airstrike using two guided bombs.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the direction of the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Starytsia, Radkivka, and Zarubinka. Fighting continues.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
Eleven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman direction in the areas around the settlements of Lyman, Novoselivka, and Drobyshove. One of these attacks is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas around the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakytne, Mykolaivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders did not carry out any assault operations.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Vilne, and Kucheriiv Yar. Four engagements are still ongoing.
The enemy carried out 22 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance toward the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Dobropillya, Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Muravka, Novopavlivka, and in the area of Rodynske, Myrne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novomykolaivka. One attack is still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 35 occupiers were eliminated and 24 were wounded here today; five vehicles, one ammunition depot, five specialized vehicles, a UAV command post, and 34 enemy personnel shelters were destroyed. Two vehicles, five UAV command posts, and 118 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 242 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched three attacks toward Novozaporizhzhia, Andriivka-Klevtsove, and Oleksandrohrad. One of these attacks is still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attacks directed at the settlements of Rizdvyanka, Rivne, Dolynka, and Lisne.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders thwarted two enemy attempts to advance in the Novoyakovlivka area.
In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation, the General Staff reported.
Ground drones have carried out over 100,000 missions on the front lines since the beginning of the year.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has approved over 1,100 new weapons models in the past six months.
The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of the new Ukrainian-made V-1 unmanned aerial system by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These ultralight bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored equipment.
