The fire at the Ozon warehouse in Dagestan is visible from space

A satellite captured a massive fire at the logistics complex of the Russian marketplace Ozon in the village of Tyube in Dagestan. 

The image shows that a significant portion of the massive warehouse has been burned down.

The logistics center covers an area of more than 130,000 square meters. It is one of Ozon’s largest facilities in the North Caucasus. Operations at the complex were suspended following the attack, and several casualties were also reported.

On the night of August 24, several Ozon logistics facilities in southern Russia were targeted simultaneously. According to the company, four hubs were attacked, and when combined with the incidents on August 22, the number of affected facilities rose to six. Fires also broke out at warehouses in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions.
