Air defense forces shot down 113 Russian drones; strikes were recorded in six locations

Ukraine’s air defense forces have shot down 113 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country since the evening of April 9. At the same time, enemy drones have struck six locations.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.

According to the military, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, the enemy deployed 128 drones of various types, of which about 85 were Shahed-type strike drones.

The launches were carried out from Russian territory—from the Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions—as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea—from the directions of Gvardeyskoye and Chauda.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups to repel the attack.

As of 8:00 a.m. Friday, 113 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, “Gerbera,” and “Italmas,” were destroyed or neutralized in the north, south, and east of the country.

According to preliminary data, 14 attack drones were recorded striking six locations. Debris from downed targets was also recorded in seven other locations.

The Air Force emphasizes that the attack is ongoing—enemy drones remain in Ukrainian airspace.

Prior to this, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the “Krymskaya” oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation. A fire broke out there following the attack. Warehouses and military equipment in the occupied territories were also targeted.
