Air defense forces shot down 111 of 139 Russian drones during a nighttime attack
On the night of May 13, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 139 drones of various types. According to the Air Force, Ukrainian air defenses shot down 111 enemy UAVs.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The launches were tracked from the following directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation; Chauda – Temporary Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
As of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or neutralized 111 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as “Parody” decoy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by 20 attack UAVs were recorded at 13 locations, as well as debris falling at 4 locations.
The attack is currently ongoing, with dozens of enemy UAVs in the airspace.
