Defense forces struck Russian drone depots, a command post, and a fuel depot
On August 31 and during the night of September 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of military facilities belonging to the Russian occupiers.
Among the targets struck were storage and launch sites for attack drones, a communications hub, a command and observation post, an area where military equipment was concentrated, and a fuel and lubricants depot.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces struck enemy military targets in several regions:
- in Donetsk—storage, preparation, and launch sites for attack drones were struck;
- in Gvardeyskoye in the temporarily occupied Crimea—facilities related to the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones were struck;
- in Mirne, in the temporarily occupied Crimea—an enemy communications hub was struck;
- in Polohy, Zaporizhzhia Oblast — an occupiers’ command and observation post was struck;
- in Verkhnokamyanka, Luhansk Oblast — an area where Russian military equipment was concentrated was struck;
- in Borisovka, Belgorod Oblast, Russian Federation—a fuel and lubricants depot was struck.
The extent of the damage inflicted on Russian forces is currently being assessed.
At the same time, after analyzing additional information, the Ukrainian military confirmed another strike.
Specifically, on August 30, 2026, in the Tsymbulova area of the Oryol Oblast of the Russian Federation, a launch pad and a storage facility for unmanned aerial vehicles were struck.
Thus, the Defense Forces continue to strike at the military infrastructure of Russia and the occupying forces, particularly at facilities used for launching UAVs, commanding troops, storing equipment, and supplying the Russian army with fuel.

On the night of August 26, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck facilities at the “Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez” LLC oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia.
Ukrainian strikes since July have disabled seven of the ten largest Wildberries logistics centers in Russia, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. In particular, following the attack on August 16, the company’s large facilities in Domodedovo and the “Koledino” industrial park ceased operations; the latter covered an area of approximately 250,000 square meters.
On the night of August 26, drones repeatedly attacked the Wildberries logistics center in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, Russia, after which a massive fire broke out at the facility. According to Russian authorities, the fire covered at least 40,000 square meters, and one employee was injured.
Ukrainian drones simultaneously attacked a Lukoil oil refinery and a Wildberries warehouse in Russia.
As a reminder, the Orsk Oil Refinery in the Orenburg Region of the Russian Federation completely halted operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
