Air defense forces shot down 114 drones and an enemy missile

On the night of April 14, Russian occupation forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory, using missiles and over a hundred drones. 

Air defense forces managed to shoot down one guided air-to-ground missile and 114 strike UAVs of various types.

According to official data from the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy began shelling as early as the evening of April 13, firing four Kh-59/69 missiles and 129 drones. 

The main strike targeted the northern, southern, and eastern regions of our country, where Ukrainian air defenders were actively engaged.

Of the total number of launched devices, about 90 were Shahed-type strike drones. In addition to these, the invaders used newer designs and drones of other modifications to wear down the Ukrainian air defense system.

Launches were carried out from various directions, including the Russian cities of Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. 

The enemy also utilized launch sites in the occupied territories—at Cape Chauda, in Gvardeyskoye in Crimea, and in the Donetsk region.

Despite the effective work of the air defense system, 12 strike drones were recorded hitting 8 locations in various regions. Additionally, debris from downed targets was recorded falling at 5 locations, resulting in damage to infrastructure.
