Over the past 24 hours, on August 25, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 17 other towns and villages in the region with missiles and drones, injuring 23 people, including two girls. The highest number of casualties was in Izyum, where 14 people were injured, including children aged 11 and 16.
Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, reported this on Facebook.

In Kharkiv, a 50-year-old man was injured, and women aged 43 and 80, as well as a 36-year-old man, suffered acute stress reactions. In the village of Vodyane in the Vilkhuvatska community, men aged 45, 54, and 79 were injured.

In Dergachi, a 53-year-old man was injured. On the road between Dergachi and the village of Zolochiv, a 55-year-old man was injured.
The enemy attacked the Osnovyanskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv with UAVs. The Russians also attacked the Kharkiv region with two missiles, three “Molniya” drones, nine FPV drones, and 57 UAVs, the type of which is being determined.
In Kharkiv, a civilian enterprise, six private homes, five cars, and a hangar were damaged. In Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv District, a gas station, power lines, a private home, and a store were damaged.

In the Izyum District, two warehouses, three combine harvesters, a tractor, a car (in the village of Petrivske), an apartment building, 93 private homes, five outbuildings, two garages, and two cars (in Izyum) were damaged. In the Kharkiv District, a private home (Slatine) and a car (Dergachi) were damaged.
In the Lozova District, an administrative building (in the village of Berestove) and a sunflower field (in the village of Novoukrainka) were damaged. In Chuhuiv, a farm building was damaged.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 298 people over the past 24 hours. A total of 55,146 people have been registered at the center since it began operations.

On the morning of August 26, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region; explosions were heard in the central part of the city. According to preliminary reports, the occupiers may have used guided bombs; information on casualties is being verified.

On August 23, Russian forces attacked the locomotive of passenger train No. 147, traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa, with a jet-powered drone. The train was stopped and passengers evacuated before the strike, so neither passengers nor railway workers were harmed.
