Prokudin warned of an increase in drone attacks in the Kherson region
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that Russian troops are preparing to intensify drone attacks across the region, particularly on civilian vehicles.
According to him, based on operational intelligence from the Defense Forces, the occupiers have been ordered to conduct so-called “free hunting” of vehicles using UAVs, particularly those controlled via fiber-optic links. To this end, the enemy has increased the number of drone crews in the region.
The Russian military is paying particular attention to vehicles that, based on their appearance, may resemble those of the Defense Forces.
Additionally, according to Prokudin, there is a growing risk of strikes near areas with high concentrations of traffic, particularly near supermarkets, markets, and gas stations.
The head of the Regional Military Administration urged residents of the region to be as vigilant as possible in the coming weeks and to follow official reports on Russian drone activity.
