Putin told Russian military officials that all of the Kremlin's goals will allegedly be achieved

Following the conclusion of the parliamentary elections in Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed Russian troops on the front lines. He stated that the election results, in his words, allegedly demonstrate “support for the army” and “citizens’ faith in victory.”

Putin also said that Russians supposedly believe in the military, their courage, and victory. In addition, the Russian president stated that he has no doubt that all the goals set by the Russian authorities within the framework of the so-called “special military operation” will be achieved.

“Now I want to address our soldiers and commanders on the front lines. I want you to know, comrades, that this vote is for you,” Putin said.

According to him, Russians “trust you, believe in our victory,” and consider the military heroes. Putin also stated that he has no doubt that all the goals set by the Kremlin within the framework of the so-called “special military operation” will be achieved.

Separately, the Russian president stated that citizens’ active participation in the election demonstrates their hope that the goals of “strengthening Russia” will be achieved. He also thanked Russians for participating in the vote. It is noteworthy that the address came after a direct call by U.S. President Donald Trump to sit down at the negotiating table and end the war.

Putin set a condition for a new meeting with Trump.

Putin will keep Volodin as speaker of the Russian State Duma for a third consecutive term.

Vyacheslav Volodin, Speaker of the Russian State Duma, urged Russians not to complain about fuel shortages and stated that “unity” should be the top priority right now. According to him, any criticism of the authorities allegedly means that a person is “switching sides.”

Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stated that Japan should bear in mind that Russia possesses nuclear weapons and should refrain from “confrontational rhetoric” over territorial claims to the Kuril Islands.
