Zelenskyy said that Putin has no plans to end the war this winter

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war this winter. According to Zelenskyy, this is evidenced by the Russian leader’s constant refusals to negotiate an end to the aggression.

“Putin always has some excuse not to meet, not to hold trilateral talks, not to talk, and not to end or stop these killings. It’s been the same story for years, and all our partners feel it. He’s looking for excuses to wage war,” said the head of state.

According to the president, significant diplomatic efforts are planned in the coming days and in October to put pressure on the aggressor. In particular, he said, the Lindsey Graham Act and other international mechanisms to compel Russia to make peace should be fully implemented.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during an evening address on Saturday.

As of September 25, there had been 167 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian troops carried out 56 airstrikes, dropped 190 guided bombs, launched over 4,300 kamikaze drones, and carried out 1,816 artillery attacks. The Ukrainian military repelled the most attacks in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. In addition, one tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were destroyed.

Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18.

On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
