Russia attacked a DTEK energy facility in the Odesa region, leaving thousands of consumers without power

During the night of December 4, Russian forces carried out an attack on a DTEK energy facility in the Odesa region.
This was reported by the company’s press service.

According to DTEK, after the shelling, part of the consumers were quickly reconnected through backup circuits:

  • 9,500 households have already been supplied with electricity through alternative lines;
  • 51,800 consumers remain without electricity as of the morning.

The company added that emergency crews are working in an enhanced mode to restore power as quickly as possible.

On Thursday, December 4, electricity supply in Ukraine will continue to be limited according to schedules. During the day, from 0.5 to 3 groups of consumers will be disconnected simultaneously.
