Russia is missing deadlines and suffering heavier losses on the front lines — Zelenskyy

The Russian army is attempting to intensify its assaults on the front lines, but this is leading to increased casualties and yielding no results.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, the relevant data is contained in a report by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

The president noted that Russia has failed to achieve its objectives in the border areas of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, as well as in the Donetsk region, forcing it to postpone its timeline.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue to carry out their assigned tasks, particularly in the southern sector.

Separately, Zelenskyy reported that he discussed with Syrsky the issue of launching new long-range strikes against the enemy.

Russia’s war against Ukraine could drag on for at least another year or two due to the lack of a breakthrough both on the front lines and in diplomatic negotiations.

The Kremlin is demanding that Kyiv make a decision as soon as possible to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the Donbas region.
