Russia attacked the Kupiansk region with KAB bombs; one person was killed

On Thursday, June 25, Russian troops launched guided airstrikes on populated areas in the Kupiansk District of Kharkiv Oblast, killing one person and injuring four others. 

The occupiers targeted residential buildings on the outskirts of the village of Velykyi Burluk, where a fire broke out and a private home covering an area of 150 square meters was destroyed; six other private homes were also damaged. Rescue teams, including a medical unit and a community rescue officer, were on the scene at the impact sites.

In addition, damage to private residential buildings was reported in the village of Prykolotne, Vilkhuvatska community, as a result of an enemy airstrike. In total, 11 people were injured in the Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours due to Russian strikes on twenty settlements.

On the night of June 25, Russia carried out a large-scale air attack on Ukraine, using a ballistic missile and dozens of attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed or intercepted most of the targets, but a missile and several drones were confirmed to have struck their targets.

Starting in the evening of June 24, Russian troops carried out nearly 20 attacks on five districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region, using drones, artillery, and a guided aerial bomb. The shelling resulted in damage to infrastructure.

On June 25, rescue workers extinguished a fire at an industrial facility in the Poltava region that was caused by a Russian attack. Emergency responders continued their work after the facility was struck by enemy weapons.
