Russia attacked Kharkiv with drones; one person was killed

On September 17, Russian forces struck a shopping center in Kharkiv. The attack was reported by the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synehubov.
According to Oleg Sinehubov, a UAV struck a shopping center in the Osnovyanskyi District. A fire broke out in the building after the strike, and emergency services responded to the scene.
According to updated reports, one female employee of the shopping center sought medical attention due to an acute stress reaction. At the time of the strike, employees and visitors were taking shelter.
Russian attacks on Kharkiv continue to pose a threat to the civilian population and the city’s infrastructure.
