Russia attacked Konotop; a child was injured
Overnight, Russian troops struck Konotop in the Sumy region again. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the attack, and significant destruction and damage were reported in the city.
According to the mayor, a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of the latest nighttime attack by Russia on Konotop.
Details about her condition are still being confirmed.
The attack caused significant damage to Konotop’s infrastructure.
In particular, according to Semenikhin:
- another agricultural enterprise was destroyed;
- part of the city was left without gas service;
- a residential building was destroyed;
- dozens of buildings and structures were damaged;
- a section of railroad track and several Ukrzaliznytsia facilities were destroyed.
The mayor of Konotop stated that Russian troops, having failed to achieve their objectives on the battlefield, continue to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine.
“I thank God that everyone is alive after this strike,” Semenikhin wrote.

On the night of August 25, Russian troops attacked a shopping and entertainment center in Slobozhansky, Dniprovsky District. The strike caused fires inside and near the building, damaged a truck, and destroyed the mall’s interior.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.
Earlier, drones attacked Ozon logistics centers in two regions of the Russian Federation simultaneously.
Drones also attacked Krasnodar and caused a fire at a warehouse.
Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.
